What is PwrSwitcher?

PwrSwitcher is a System 7 control panel that lets you change from one active application to another using your keyboard instead of the Finder’s application menu. Some machines can use the power-on key found on their keyboard (hence the name). Newer machines (PowerBooks, Duos, and Macs that can use the power key to shut down the system) can use the ‘esc’ key, since the power key on these models is not accessible to PwrSwitcher’s code.
