What is nic.funet.fi/pub/mac FTP archive?

This is an archive of the nic.funet.fi/pub/mac FTP originally hosted in Finland in the 1990's.  This FTP was the very first place on the internet where they distributed Linux back in 1991!

As of 2022, it is STILL operational and can even be browsed using SSL on any web browser right here: https://nic.funet.fi/pub/mac/

Note that in order to avois wasting 7GB of server space, the following file download contains everything from nic.funet.fi/pub/mac except for the Info-Mac mirror, which essentially is the same as https://www.macintoshrepository.org/25763-info-mac-archive
