What is Textures?

Textures is an implementation of Donald Knuth's TeX (and derived formats such as LaTeX) system for Macintosh by Blue Sky Research from Portland, OR.

TeX and LaTeX are still widely used in the academic world (especially but not only computer science) for all kinds of publications from articles to books.
