What is Tron?

This is a make of Tron for the Apple II.

I'm not sure what the last name of "Ivan" is. I have attempted research but can not find anything about it, except just the game on ad-ridden emulator sites. I am also unable to find the year this was created...

It seems to be a 2-Player only game, so if you have another retro geek around, i'm sure they'll play!

The controls for Player 1 is: W (up), A (left), S (right), Z (down)
The controls for Player 2 is: P  (up), L (left),  ; (right), > (down)

If this turns out to be someone's hobbyist project made recently, and doesn't comply, I'll happily remove it.

Compatibility notes

  • Works on Apple IIe, but appears as an @@ and ?? mess on an original Apple II, at least for me.. This probably means something, but i'm not sure.
  • Seems to work on Applewin (Apple II emulator)
  • Works in colour and monochrome
