What is Carracho (client & server & tracker)?

Carracho is a client/server/tracker platform that allows clients to connect to servers that are listed on trackers and then chat with other peers that are also connected to the same server, exchange files, read news and participate in conferences.  Besides a couple details, it's an almost exact Hotline Connect clone that came out later, never passed the beta stage after years of development, and maybe as such, was also consequently less popular than Hotline.  Carracho was also a Macintosh only application suite as opposed to Hotline.

Carracho Client 
The client allows you to use the services provided by Carracho servers.

Carracho Server 
Using the Carracho server, you can provide Carracho services to other users (clients).

Carracho Tracker 
The Carracho tracker works like a central controller for multiple Carracho servers.
