What is GameMaster?

GameMaster is a games hub application for early B&W Mac OS that contains all these module games:

  • Battleships
  • Chess
  • Connect 4
  • DerfBall
  • Dots & Boxes
  • File Transfer
  • Global Thermonuclear War
  • Othello
  • Simple Talk
  • TicTacToe

Once you launch GameMaster, you can launch an instance of any game each in its own window.  GameMaster can be used for 1-player gameplay or for 2-players gameplay via network and acts as a server that can connect to another client.

Mac OS 1.x - Mac OS 8.1

Note: Under some environments past System 6 (e.g. System 7.5.3 on BasiliskII), it may freeze/crash the whole emulator.  For some reason, it seems to work just well under BasiliskII.js and Macintosh.js which are both derivatives of BasiliskII, which is weird.  Better safe than sorry.  Works super nice under Mini vMac emulating any Mac OS version.

 


Emulating this? It could probably run under: Basilisk II
