What is Dark Corona?

Dark Colony is a vertical shooter action game for Mac.  Dark Colony features nice amiga style music.  This the shareware version.

In Dark Colony, you own a spaceship and you get some missions to earn money - to buy powerfull equipment for your ship.You visit planets in the Andromeda System - there are also some space pirats, rebells of the Empire and other captains of spaceships out there.You can buy a better spaceship or you can buy ship devices - or simply fill your cargo to transport and sell goods. You can choose to be a frighter captain - with a big cargo, or just a fighter with a good armed spaceship.And then the fight against the enemies begins... with full action...

 

Background Story

Keldor - Imperator of Morag is back. Now he has finished his "Iconia Device". With this device he can slowly destroy the sun of the Andromeda System. Millions of colonists are in danger. The "Iconia Device" can only be turned off with a special key crystal.There is only one such key crystal and Keldor made 16 pieces of it - and distributed the key fragments over 16 planets.You have to find all key fragments and put them together to turn the "Iconia Device" off.
