What is BarFly Carbon and Classic?

Basicly a text editor... BarFly is an integrated environment for working with abc music files. The abc music language is a way of writing music using ASCII text.

Compatibility notes

Macintosh 68k and PPC. System 7 or later; at least 1.5 Mb RAM; Quicktime 2.1 to use Quicktime Musical Instruments.

With the extention Carbonlib, BarFly Carbon runs smoothly in Mac OS 9.

Otherwise, it will run on about any old Macintosh; in fact it's quicker to list the machines that WON'T run on (Powerbook 100, Mac Portable, SE, Mac Plus) than to explain why.
