What is MindExpander? MindExpander is a very small (224KB) decompression utility that is 68K native and that can take care of various file formats (just like Stuffit Expander). The supported formats are: .sit, .sea, .hqx, .bin, .zip. If MindExpander cannot expand a certain type of archive, it will try to find another application on your hard drive to complete the expansion. MindExpander also has support for browser integration so that when you download files, it automatically expands them for you. It can also be used as a standalone application. MindExpander has an option to convert DOS line breaks to Mac line breaks when expanding. When you expand an application, it will ask you if you want to launch it immediately after expansion.
