FateClock will show you the most profound number you will ever see. The time remaining, in seconds, in your life time. When you run FateClock for the first time, you will be prompted to enter your birthdate. After that, FateClock will display a countdown in a small window on your desktop.
Warning: Once started, FateClock can not be stopped. The number is ticking down even when the program isn't running.
I wrote this program to learn about the Mac's internal clock and how to access it. When I ran the program for the first time, I had a very strange experience. Watching the numbers tick down scared me, but I couldn't take my eyes off them. I decided I'd share this troubling experience with others. Enjoy.
