What is Aimless? Aimless is an experiment made by Kevin Altis back in 1986 which gave birth to this demoscene-like toy. Aimless is not a screen saver, because you have to manually launch the demo. It features 2 demo modes, one is lines and the other one is kind of very basic 3D shapes in the form of just the outline which bounce around the screen. You can change a few settings like the number of polygons drawn on screen, enabling the trail, make the shape polymorphic, use the desktop pattern in background, or change the speed. Download Aimless
Architecture: 68K Mac OS 6.x or lower Crashes depending of the settings using SheepShaver or Basilisk under anything more recent than Mac OS 6.x. It works perfectly under Mini vMac and Mac OS 6.0.8.
