What is Apple Technician Training CD (2001 edition)?

This is the Apple Technician Training CD (2001 edition) filled with an offline copy of a website full of information about Apple products.

From the Read Me file:

Welcome to the Apple Technician Training CD!  The training courses and modules contained on this CD will prepare you for certification as an Apple service technician.

These courses include links to many online resources that you will find useful in both your training and in troubleshooting and repairing Apple products. In order to access these online materials while using this CD, you must have an active Internet connection. Although you can complete a majority of the course exercises without Internet access, working with an active Internet link will give you the best possible training experience.

EASE OF USE

To avoid constant switching between the Training CD and the Service Source CD in your CD-ROM drive, you can copy the "service_training" folder (310 MB) from the Training CD to your hard drive before you begin.  Then eject the Training CD and insert the Service Source CD into your CD-ROM drive.  Then launch the training by opening the "service_training" folder on your hard drive and dragging the file called "training.html" onto your brower's window.
