What is Yamato Menu (Japanese)? Yamato Menu is a control panel that automatically translates the menu items in Mac software from English to Japanese without changing anything on the file or anywhere on the hard disk for the matter, since it translates on the fly, at the moment the strings are sent to Mac OS for display in the menu bar, making it an instantaneous solution and perfect alternative to patching your applications. Yamato Menu internally has a dictionary of more than 5000 pairs of English to Japanese character strings and you can even add your own custom translations if you want. Also, different replacement data can be specified for each application. Unlike applying a patch to an application, the Yamato menu does not make any changes to the application's file itself since everything happens in RAM in real time. You can also use the wild card "?" In the replacement target string. The part "?" is replaced with a matching string in the replacement set. This improves the conversion rate because conversion is performed even if the entire character string is not registered. For details, see the document "How to use Yamato Menu".
