What is Dungeons of Dredmor?

Dungeons of Dredmor is a role-playing dungeon hack game in the tradition of classic Roguelike games, but fully graphical with a point-and-click interface. The player travels through randomly generated dungeons exploring for treasure and items, fighting monsters, crafting new items, casting powerful magics, and ultimately facing the Dark Lord Dredmor. Treasure and other items appear randomly in the map, are dropped by defeated monsters, and can sometime be found in other items like chests or shelves.

The combat system is set mostly in a medieval style and incorporates armor, melee and ranged weapons. A large variety of new more powerful items can be crafted from other items found in the game. The magic system consists of spells and wands, powered by the player's mana, and potions. Some features include randomly generated dungeons, hand crafted graphics, complex item crafting system, powerful magic system, and many monsters unique to the game.
