PowerPC Media Center 7 is an advanced media streamer, downloader, and conversion application in active development targeting PowerPC Macs running Mac OS X 10.3.9 and above. PPCMC 7 is a fork of the original PPCMC 6 by 'Hugh Downs'. When the original PPCMC had it's final update on 1/18/2020, PPCMC 7.0 was released on 2/25/2020 and has been developed by Alex Free ever since. From Mac OS 10.3 up to Mac OS 10.5 Architecture: PPC and Intel 32 bit builds were available throughout the history of the program. Latest panther version supports Mac OS X 10.3.9-10.5.8. Latest Tiger version supports Mac OS X 10.4.0-10.5.8. FFplay video player is broken on Intel via Rosetta. Besides FFplay, other features work on some newer Mac OS X versions but this is unsupported as of the latest versions.
