What is MacPro Baseball? MacPro Baseball was a piece of shareware created by a Math teacher in the mid-1990s. It simulated Major League Baseball action by letting players make strategic in-game decisions such as setting the lineup, choosing pitchers, pinch hitting, calling on the bullpen, bunting, stealing, and giving intentional walks. Registered owners had access to all 28 Major League Clubs (Arizona and Tampa Bay have since been added), and could manage a team through an entire season. National Anthems, as well as real Home Run broadcast calls were also part of the package. Real MLB players were used, and their performace was based on their actual statistical numbers through 1993. A file set editor, which allowed players to create new custom rosters and schedule files, was also available. Download MacPro Baseball for Mac
