What is Boot Runner?

Boot Runner makes booting between OS X, Windows, and other operating systems easy. Instead of remembering to hold down the option key or digging around in System Preferences, booting into another OS is as simple as clicking a disk or selecting a menu item. Boot Runner gives standard accounts the ability to select startup volumes without needing to first grant local administrative rights.

The look and feel of Boot Runner's startup screen can be customized to suit your needs. Use your own background image, scroll marquee text and popover text above each volume. Hide volumes that are bootable but you don't want to show, or include unmounted volumes that you do want to show. Boot Runner is perfect for creating themes or branded startup screens.

Administrators can take advantage of network policies to manage startup behavior with Boot Runner. Boot state and startup behavior can be managed via network policy using JAMF Casper Suite, Centrify, and DeployStudio.
