What is Orange Micro OrangeLink+ PCI Firewire/USB combo card software?

Installation software and documents for the Orange Micro OrangeLink PCI Firewire/USB combo card. This software is only required to address compatibility issues with PowerMac 5500/6500 and Twentieth Anniversary Macintosh models running Mac OS 8.6 - 9.1. In all cases Apple USB and Firewire drivers are required for the card to function.

Compatibility notes

Note on PCI Bridge Patch v1.0 for the Power Macintosh 6500, 5500 and Twentieth Anniversary Macintosh. This will allow the OrangeLink+ FireWire/USB board to work on these systems due to an issue with their Open Firmware implementation. Run this patch to update the system PRAM and enable the card. Resetting the PRAM will remove the patch if required.
