What is Avara?

Avara is a 3D sci-fi singleplayer and multiplayer FPS game for Mac. Players play as mech robots that battle using weapons such as: a laser gun, grenades and guided missiles. Avara features physics such as jumping, climbing stairs, standing on building roof tops, etc... Avara also had network capabilities for AppleTalk local area networks and also on internet through TCP/IP. Avara players could set up a server in just a mouse click and let up to 5 other people join in on a game.

Includes singleplayer and multiplayer levels. Additional levels can be downloaded.
