What is Worlds Apart?

Worlds Apart - An Interactive Fugue, is a text-based role playing adventure game.  Worlds Apart runs on a TADS interpreter, which is bundled with it and which also means it's cross platform (it can run on a Windows platform using a TADS interpreter for Windows).

What makes Worlds Apart unique is that the majority of the adventure discoveries are optional, as opposed to a linear story.

Worlds Apart won the 1999 XYZZY Award for Best Story.
