主人公はいつものようにメル友「ハピネス」にメールをいれる。そんな一日が終わろうとしている帰り道、街には友達が…そしていくつものお店がならんでいます。このまま家に帰ろうか、それともぶらっとどこかに立ち寄ろうか。買い物、散歩、そんななにげない街でのひとときを過ごすことができるゲーム、それがこの『ハピネス』なのです。街では友達をつれて歩いたり、一人で歩道橋にたたずんでみたり、また何もしないですぐ家に帰るなど、すべてあなたの自由！行動次第でいろんなイベントや発見があるかも知れません。もうひとつのあなたの街がここにあります。
As usual, the main character sends an e-mail to his e-mail friend "Happiness". On the way home from such a day, there are friends in the town... and many shops. Should I just go home or just stop by somewhere? Happiness is a game where you can spend your time shopping, taking a walk, and spending time in the city. You can walk around the city with your friends, stand alone on the pedestrian bridge, or just go home without doing anything - it's all up to you! There may be various events and discoveries depending on your actions. Another city of yours is here.
