What is NOVA?

NOVA is a screensaver suite (similar to AfterDark) that does not rely on a system extension nor a control panel to work.  Instead, NOVA launches a tiny application in the background (you cannot see it) serving as the screensaver launcher when the computer is idle.  This proves to be more stable with the rest of the extensions and control panels in the operating system and this uses very little RAM while you're using your computer.  Each module is an application that is launched and quit when the time comes.  NOVA can also protect your computer by asking a password when waking up after the screensaver.

NOVA also had a SDK that you could use to develop your own modules.  *** If anybody finds that archive, please upload it here :-)
