What is RPG Demo v2?

This is a "proof-of-concept" project I started back in early March of this year. I wanted to see how difficult it would be to create a dungeon-crawler-esque RPG entirely in HyperCard.

This project is ever-evolving, and what I've included here is basically a "proof-of-concept". There's about three rooms you can explore, and once reaching the end of the demo, the game loops.

The game is played entirely with the mouse.

There's no music or sound in this project.

Since this is an RPG, the battles are turn-based, there are random encounters, items to gather, and levels to earn.

I'm releasing this project as-is without warranties, bugs and all, and due to my busy schedule, there is no timeline or roadmap for development. Progress will be made when I have time.

//HOW TO PLAY//

System 6: Open the HyperCard stack titled "init-r" (located in the RPG Demo Stacks folder) to start the game!

System 7+: Simply open the RPG alias in this folder to start the game!
