What is MiniVNC Remote Desktop Server for 68K Macs?

MiniVNC is a VNC server built from the ground up for very old Macs (e.g. Mac Plus from 1986). MiniVNC is now compatible with a wide variety of standard VNC clients on all platforms and can run on a B&W Mac Plus as well as on color Macs such as a LC II.

The goal of MiniVNC is to provide better performance and compatibility with older Macs than ChromiVNC.
