What is Dr. Circuit? Dr. Circuit is a Macintosh program that is a design tool for circuit designers. Dr. Circuit can help reduce the amount of rewiring that happens in the lab. The program analyses linear, analog circuits and can display the waveform at any node, the frequency response or the phase response. It can be used for amplifiers, filters, and any circuit which uses resistors, capacitors, inductors, op amps and voltage or current sources. The op amps provide quite a bit of flexibility because they can be used for amplification, inversion, differentiation, integration and much more. To analyze a circuit, you need to make a document which describes it. The program then builds the circuit model from the text description, solves the math and displays the solution.
