What is Extensis Fetch 1.5?

Recently acquired from Adobe Systems, Inc. as Adobe Fetch 1.2, Extensis Fetch 1.5 software for Macintosh organizes your digital content into a browsable on-line library for use by individuals and work groups. As the media management standard for graphics professionals, Fetch enables users to quickly and efficiently organize, browse, manage and retrieve digital content. Fetch catalogs digital media files, regardless of the file format or the application used to create them. By creating thumbnail images of each item, Fetch significantly improves productivity and enhances the creative process; letting users search visually or with keywords and other criteria to conveniently locate, access and reuse existing digital files.

The new upgrade to version 1.5 addresses the primary requests of users by providing significant performance increases, new drag-and-drop capabilities, support for additional file formats and improved searching and keywording capabilities.
