What is CyberDreams / Wanderlust?

Review from the tester (Sergey Pukhov aka SergP)

WanderLust has a nice miscellaneous music and excellent mix of sometimes fantastic (and exciting) computer graphics and high-qualified human-played movie including dancings and even a choreography, and it all looks like the one of the best erotic quests I've seen in my life. You can 'win' here (among others, suddenly and prematurely), 'loose' (unexpectedly and stupidly getting your face smacked) or just infinitely walk between the adventures in accordance with your wishes and behaviour. Originally the game was designed for win16. When you press the Panic button there you can see an empty old-style Windows Excel spreadsheet, and it was preserved in the Mac version too. The both versions are included in the WanderLust.iso_.sit and seem to be in English. On the other hand cyberdreams.iso_.sit shows a German 1995 year localization of the game with its name changed to CyberDreams for unknown reason. I passed the both versions, and nevertheless I think the 1994 year original is a bit more well-done, and I'd like to recommend use just the English one even if you're German-speaking.

Some useful hints I found here are the following. Pressing Forward button switches between a normal and doubled speed. It can be useful in some cases instead of skeeping the episode, when you click the working area of the screen. Rewind button allows you to play the action back. Note pressed buttons start to light and vice versa.

Below I added the brief game operation from the Windows release of this game written by its creators. It's very applicable for Macs too. Now enjoy and be happy with your own wandering of lust!

EMedia: 'To begin your interactive journey into CyberSpace with WanderLust,
simply double click on the Wander icon. Your adventure begins on the
beach from where you're immediately launched into CyberSpace.
You travel down the highway until you reach a fork in the road.
At this point you have to decide whether to "WANDER" or "LUST". Select
"WANDER" if you want to continue down the highway or "LUST" if you want
to explore this region of CyberSpace. Your ultimate goal is to return to
the beach from where you were launched. This can only be done by acquiring
the key found only in the deepest regions of WanderLust.

The FFWD,  RWD, and PAUSE buttons will respond only when a movie is playing. The PANIC button will place a spreadsheet over your screen in case it becomes necessary to conceal what you're doing. To terminate the program, hit the QUIT button.'
