What is YooEdit 1.71?

YooEdit is a program for editing, displaying and printing text, and is free, unwarranted, and non-licensable for use as a tool. The functions of YooEdit are very simple, and you can only edit, display, and print plain text without character decoration, but I think it has the basic functions. YooEdit features stress-free input, fast startup, drag-and-drop editing of text, support for TSM inline conversion (such as Kana-Kanji conversion), full-width half-width hiragana katakana case-insensitive regular expressions, etc. Unparalleled high-speed search and replace, streamlined screen updating (delay and optimization of update area, caching of various intermediate information) that can demonstrate performance even on machines with weak specifications, line wrap display, It features display of control code, editing of pictorial text files, document size limited only by application memory size and virtual memory size. The operating environment of YooEdit 1.71 is created on the assumption that it will run on Kanji Talk Release 7.0, English System 7.0 or later. The development environment is MacOS 8.6, but I think it will work on MacOS 9 as well. (From YooEdit 1.7, we stopped supporting System 4.1-6.x.x for the simple reason that the author doesn't use it regularly)

サイズなどが特徴です。

YooEdit 1.71 の動作環境は、漢字Talk Release 7.0、英語 System 7.0 以降で動作
することを想定して作成されています。開発環境は MacOS 8.6 ですが、恐らく
MacOS 9 でも動作すると思います。（YooEdit 1.7 から、作者が普段利用しない
という単純な理由から、System 4.1〜6.x.x のサポートをやめました）
