What is Crossbow 2.7?

Crossbow is a cross assembler for the Macintosh. It provides and assembler, an editor, and testing facilities. The assembler is able to, "generate object files in Intel Hex, Motorol S-records, or absolute binary." The editor is designed specifically for working with assembly language source. It provides window resizing and layout, and search-and-replace, optionally using grep wildcards. Lastly, Crossbow provides a terminal emulator for connecting to target systems via a serial port. File transfer can use either XMODEM or ASCII protocols with various options.
