What is Realtek RTL8192CU RTL8192SU USB Wireless Mac Drivers? This is an excellent Mac OS X driver for RTL8192xx 2.4ghz WiFi-N USB dongles. As of 2024, this driver works flawlessly on a 20 years old PowerBook G4 under OSX 10.4.11 and it even supports WPA and WPA2 security with AES encryption, making it fully compatible with modern WiFi routers. This was tested using the tiny 802.11n RTL8192CU dongle shown in first picture above (costs 3$ on eBay, making it an insanely cost effective and convenient way of upgrading/replacing an AirPort card) and this driver is said to be compatible with other variants of the Realtek RTL8192 chip as well. It supports OSX 10.4/10.5 under PPC architecture + OSX 10.4/10.5/10.6/10.7/10.8 under Intel architecture.
