What is TV-Man?

TV-Man is a utility program designed to display various images tailored to emphasize potential video problems on the Macintosh. Since every conceivable problem cannot be predicted several aspects of TV-Man have been made programmable by the user. All test displays determine the size of the monitor being used and scale their pictures accordingly.  This may lead to some calculation rounding errors especially where the user gets to set up numbers of bars in the display. The screen area may not be evenly divisible by the number of bars. Oh well.
