What is OmniProof?

A third enhancement [of OmniPage] is OmniProof, a stand-alone program that compares changes in a document. You can take two word processing files, view them searately in split screens, or print out a composite version with the changes marked. These capabilities will be useful for documents that have several editors, either when the files or [SIC] worked electronically, or particularly when each version is retyped or printed. You may scan the printed versions separately with OmniPage, then compare them for alterations with OmniDraft.
