Welcome to the world of SID! SID is the effort of Macintosh enthusiasts who want to give something back to the industry. Besides I had fun writting it and got credit for a project at school! This software release allows SID hardware to function with the sound input manager in systems 6.0.6 and up. Here's how it works.
Place the SID file in your system folder (in the extensions folder for system 7.0) then reboot. That's about all there is to it. The options on the control panel allow selection of printer or modem port. Sorry - it doesn't remember after you restart your machine (maybe the next release). Stop recording by moving the mouse (ADB machines) or clicking the mouse button (older non-ADB machines).Clicking the mouse button is weird - if you release it over the record button it starts to record again. Just press the button then move off of the record button before releasing.
