Quest of Yipe is a basic RPG featuring crude color 2D sprites (no animation) and sound effects. You can equip your character with a weapon and an armor. There are multiple ennemies you can randomly encounter while moving around in the Yipe overworld, caves and dungeons.

It is up to you to save the town!
Quest of Yipe! II
In the beginning the town of Yipe! was trapped by landslides, but you fought your way through five caves to save the city! Now that the town is free again they need you to travel to a neighboring city to pick up some supplies for winter.
Travel north through the snowy forest or south through the smelly swamps.
Either path will take you to the town of Maynard.
Before you head out explore the caves to gather treasure and gain some experience.
...of course gathering treasure won't be easy...
Yipe! II is far bigger and much better than the original Quest of Yipe! There are more monsters, more sounds, better graphics, four different quests, and the luxurious Yipe! Casino!
This is a role playing game based on dungeons and dragons with a humorous twist.
Quest of Yipe! III
The town of Yipe! is a peaceful town high up in the mountains. Unfortunately the surrounding world is not always that friendly. There are many caves throughout the world which are normally used for exploring and adventure. In the past few months evil monsters have started coming up from the caves and attacking the citizens.
The King has come to you for help. Recently the King's rare stamp collection was stolen. He believes the sudden increase in the monster population and his missing stamps are no coincidence. The King tells you to start exploring the cave right next to the town to start looking for clues as to where his precious stamps are.
On a side note, all of the King's daughters are missing. He thinks some may have been kidnapped, some might be lost, while others may have just run away. He will reward you greatly if you could return all the princesses back to the castle.
Yipe! III features:
- A world many times larger than Yipe! I or II.
- More monsters than ever... Plus a feature that will allow people to create and distribute their own monster files.
- Learn special abilities that can be used in combat, like Backstab or Invisibility.
- Avoid wall spikes , pits, warps, and other obstacles out to get your character.
- Ride a raft across the waters to find secret treasure chests.
- Talk to a gatekeeper that controls the underworld.
- Register your high score on the Yipe! III High Scores Web Page.
- Yipe! II was known for its humorous concept. In Yipe! III choose to play on either normal or silly mode.
- Yipe! III also offers a manual/hintbook that will tell you how to find some of those hard to reach princesses and also how to create your own monster file.
