BlockForge is a new version of the classic game "Tetris", where your mission is to move falling pieces, or blocks, in a pit, trying to fill up horizontal lines. Each horizontal line full of blocks will zap and disappear, giving room for more blocks. The game ends when the pit is full of blocks.
Different from most other Tetris-like games, this game has fully customizable playfield graphics and sounds. The player may place additional "Themes" into Themes folder, giving the game varying graphics and sound effects. There is one theme bundled with BlockForge, the Default Theme. Custom themes may be downloaded from this site when available, or made by players themselves.
In addition to traditional tetris gameplay, BlockForge also has two extra single-player modes (Time attack and Turbo) and even a two-player multiplayer mode on one computer.

This game is designed to run on a variety of Macs. It has
been tested to work on these models:
PowerBook 1400cs, Power Macintosh G3, PM 7600, PM 6400, and iMac.
Your Mac must support these requicements for the game to run:
- MacOS 8.0 or newer
- 256 colors are requiced, but this game looks best with thousands
- Mac with at least 68040 processor, PowerPC recommended
- At least 4 megabytes of RAM. The more colors you use, the more memory you need.
