What is Maelstrom?

Maelstrom is a simple yet addictive arcade game in which you thrust your spaceship around the screen and dodge various space hazards while trying to destroy the meteorites flying around you. Maelstrom features color animation graphics, funny sound effects and progressive difficulty rising from wave to wave, not to mention a multitude of power ups, score multiplyers and alien spaceships that will come at you once you're a couple waves into the game.

This is Ambrosia Software's first runaway hit, a timeless Macintosh classic title to try if you never played it!
