What is Strange Adventures in Infinite Space?

Strange Adventures in Infinite Space (a.k.a. SAIS) is a turn-based, space exploration themed strategy/adventure game.  You travel from a planet to the other in search of new technologies, artifacts and lifeforms.

You are given a mission to explore a sector of the galaxy within ten years. In your way are nebulae, which slow your warp drive, and various enemy aliens you may encounter in the hostile reaches of space. You'll find upgrades for your ships, allies to join your flotilla, exotic alien species, and historical items, some of which have mysterious usage on your journey if you find them. 

Every instance of the game is procedurally generated - no two games will be alike. However, the peaceful traders known as Klakars tend to generate close to your home planet, and should be sought out as soon as possible to trade for upgrades.

Death is a common feature, and there is no save function. Take risks, be prepared to die often, and learn from your mistakes to make better runs. Each game takes about 3-20 minutes to complete.
