What is Vamp?

Vamp is a MPEG Layer 3 (MP3) player.  All it does is display a tiny global floating window on which you can drag and drop MP3 files and it starts playing them.  It stores a playlist of all the files you dropped on it and you can randomize it.

Note: I could not get it to recognize 90% of the MP3 files I dropped on it although all of them played fine under SoundApp, another freeware app from the same time period that actually supports (and can convert!) many more formats than just MP3.
