What is MusicRacer?

MusicRacer is a free music-based game that lets you race all the music living on your local hard disk. Just select an arbitrary .mp3, .ogg or .wav file from your computer and MusicRacer will generate a unique track for any song. You have to select a music file in order to play the game, so make sure you have a mp3 or compatable music file stored somewhere on your Mac or you can download free mp3s from Last FM.

Compatibility notes

Verified on a MacBook 2,1 with OSX 10.6.8 Snow Leopard and on a MacBook 5,2 with OSX 10.11.6 El Capitan, doesn't work on my iBook G4 PowerPC with OSX 10.5.8 Leopard although it is a universal binary the game does load on my G4 but freezes after you click play. It may require Intel 64.
