What is Peaceland (ピースランド)?

絵本作家、高畠純氏の原作をCD-ROMの絵本にした作品。どこかにゆったりと浮かぶ島ピースランドを舞台に、プレイヤーであるウサギや、寝坊すけのニワトリ、床屋のライオン、ピアノを聴かせてくれるペンギンなどが繰り広げる、さりげない、でも楽しい小さなイベントや物語を楽しむ。1ページが一つのストーリーになっていて、女性の優しい声でナレーションが入っている。シンプルなイラストと音楽に乗せて、のんびりと、歩くようなテンポで、島で待つイベントを眺めていくのが似合う、そんな作品だ。作りも丁寧で、子どもと一緒に楽しめるのが魅力だ。

One page is one story, with narration in a gentle female voice. It's a work that suits you to watch the event waiting on the island at a leisurely walking tempo with simple illustrations and music. It is carefully made and is attractive to enjoy with children.
