pcMACTERM II transfers files over modem or serial cable connections to and from Macintoshes and DOS-based personal computers, and pcMACTERM II/Network transfers files between a DOS-based personal computer and Macintoshes and DOS computers on an AppleTalk network.
Both products can transfer files in the background to and from Macintoshes running the MultiFinder operating system. Both products also include a remote computing mode that enables Macintosh users to remotely control DOS-based personal computers' DOS applications, and peripherals. The remote mode supports all text applications and graphics programs that support the CGA, EGA and VGA standards.
Both products require the Macintosh operating system 6.02 [SIC] or later running on the Macintoshes, and at least 256 Kbytes of RAM on each DOS-based personal computer.
