What is Sorbet Leopard?

Sorbet Leopard is modernized Mac OS X 10.5.9 with many optimization patches that make it run faster and in a more secure fashion.

One of the many interesting features is its security certificates that match those of macOS 10.13.6.  It also has an updated web browser and mail client making it able to browse modern websites (as of 2021).

Included are those languages only: English (+ dialects), French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish

 

Important: The intended way of installing Sorbet Leopard is to first make a 20GB or larger partition using Disk Utility (choose Apple Partition Format as the partition scheme).  Next, select the partition you've just made on left side bar, then on the right panel, choose RESTORE.  Choose the Sorbet Leopard disk image file as the SOURCE.  Choose the partition you've just made as the DESTINATION and click on the RESTORE button.
