What is Norton Internet Security 4 for Mac?

Norton Internet Security 4 (for Mac) is abandonware by Symantec. It pretty much does what it says on the tin, and is a custom firewall that aims to prevent you accessing and downloading malware, spyware, adware and more. 

It was a subscription-based service that included other features like email spam filtering and phishing protection bundled into its firewall capabilities. 

They eventually abandoned it in 2015 choosing to move to the "Norton360" branding which bundles the firewall into the rest of their products.
