What is Desktop Consoles Pictures [DC] vol 1-5? This is Desktop Consoles volumes 1 thru 5 from 1997 to 1999, which consists of 115 wallpapers for your 640x480 or 800x600 Mac desktop! It worth noting that the author had all the pictures rendered at up to 1152x870 but this archive only includes 832x624 pictures. Some of the pictures contain Apple's logo in the design, but most are just random stuff. Almost all of them make extensive use of that 1990's 3D-ish glossy refraction filter from Photoshop :P As a matter of fact, all the files are associated to Photoshop 5.5 altough they're really just standard JPEG pictures. I could not find any ReadMe file, but they're signed by Layne Karkruff from www.blueskyheart.com which ARCHIVE.ORG kindly grabbed a snapshot of in the early 2000's. On the website's footer's last line, it reads "Unauthorized Use or Reproduction is Punishable by Death." ...YIKES!
