Sokoban (which means "warehouse manager" in Japanese) is a puzzle-type game in which you are a warehouse manager inside a maze-like warehouse. The goal is to push a bunch of boxes around until they end up on pallettes. The problem is, the boxes are so heavy that you can't pull them, you can only push them, so if you accidentally push one into a corner, you have to start over (or undo the move in most implementations). This makes for some interesting logical problems depending on the layout of the "warehouse".
In the original Sokoban game and in all the other current Macintosh implementations, you view the warehouse from the top down, as a two-dimensional maze of hallways and rooms. In Sokoban 3D, however, you view the warehouse from a first-person, three-dimensional perspective, as if you are actually in the warehouse itself.
My 3D implementation makes the game a bit more challenging since, just like in real life (if you really are a warehouse manager with heavy boxes in a maze-like warehouse...) you can only see part of the warehouse at any one time. If you don't feel up to the complete 3D challenge, you can turn on a regular 2D map.
