What is M1?

M1 is an Arcade music player for Mac OS X. (It does work on OS 9, though this is not supported officially).

M1 plays the music from arcade games by running the code in the original ROMs (not supplied). The current release supports over seven hundred different games. M1 emulates nine different CPUs to play music and sounds from games running on over eighty different arcade boards. (M1 does not play music from console games -- for that you should use Audio Overload instead).

M1 was developed by R. Belmont for both Win32 and Linux.
