What is Main Street Filer?

The Main Street Filer is a quality information management tool which has been uniquely designed for use by all microcomputer users, regardless of their level of computer literacy. If you are working with a computer for the first time, you'll appreciate how easy it is to operate the Main Street Filer. If you are a more advanced user, you will find that, underneath its simplicity, the Filer offers some very sophisticated programs.

Almost anyone who wants to store information for future use will want to look closely at the Main Street Filer. The Filer is designed to accommodate names and addresses, customer statistics, supplier and inventory records, invoices, appointment dates and other types of information. Information retrieval and reporting may be customized to individual needs and may be based on all fields.

Each record may contain up to 45 fields of 50 characters. Field titles may be up to 20 characters in length. Total record capacity is up to 2,250 characters per record, up to 32,000 records per file maintained in up to four concurrent indexes.

With the Main Street Filer, sorting is unnecessary.
