Close Combat was a squad level based WW2 tactical game. It was very clearly based on Avalon Hills Squad Leader table top board game although it was never really acknowledged, despite doing a great job.

I seem to recall, being a Microsft product, the installer automatically installed QuickTime, even if you had a more up to date version. Simply removing QuickTime's extensions from it's default location and replacing/overwriting after the installation was the easy work around.
