The Albino is the result of a unique collaboration between LinPlug VST instrument designer Peter Linsener and sound designer Rob Papen.
The Albino is a fully professional, thirty-two note-polyphonic synthesizer and features a modular design that includes three types of oscillator, two types of stereo filter, two types of envelope, four LFOs, an eight-by-eight Modulation Matrix and two separate stereo effects units each containing six different effects processors.

- 2 filters per voice, each with 2 types (Silk type and Cream type) of multimode filters, altogether 12 filter modes.
- 8 envelopes per voice, 2 envelope types: 5 levels / 5 rates with loop and enhanced ADSR Mode.
- Variable keyboard and velocity tracking, individual for each envelope.
- 4 individual LFO’s with various waveforms, broad range of tempo sync, Symmetry and Phase adjustable, additional LFO-DAD-Envelopes.
- Portamento / Glide with various options, constant Time or Rate and Auto-Bend.
- Adjustable Precision to bring in the warmth of good old analogue modules.
- Unique modulation matrix with hundreds of modulation routings.
- Fully recognized velocity, mono and poly aftertouch, pitch bend, mod-wheel and various other controllers.
- External controllers settings can be stored.
- Full version comes with a comprehensive PDF manual.
