What is The MACsonian?

Welcome to the premiere issue of The MACsonian CD-ROM magazine, a publication by and for user group members and school districts. We created this publication to benefit user groups and schools by gathering the latest shareware programs and commercial demos, as well as a collection of electronic publications. We hope our efforts will serve your group well as a primary or supplemental newsletter, disc-of-the-month, and BBS disc.

The MACsonian is intended as a supplement to our flagship CD-ROMs, MACnificent 7 – Education & Games and MACnificent 7 – Utilities & Productivity Tools—see the 'Special Offers' folder. However, each issue will include an everchanging variety of software and information. Expect to see materials, both software and publications, not found on any CD-ROMs you have come across before. And as more user groups join us in the project, expect to see a wider selection of electronic newsletters and magazines available in the 'Publications' folder.
